I was an avid Barbie girl growing up.  I loved that if I could dream it, I could be it.  A high-powered corporate attorney, an Olympic high-jumper, a wife and mother, a world traveler.

Some of my favourite Barbies were: Dream Date Barbie, Peaches n’ Cream Barbie, Crystal Barbie and Loving You Barbie.  And I also loved Tracey the brunette, lavender-eyed Barbie Bride!

I collected the beautiful outfits and acted out so many different scenarios with my friends.  We combined sets, used campers, dream houses and pools.  I loved everything from styling Barbie’s hair to fitting her little shoes on.
